For Jaclynn, a resident of rural Kansas, driving 26 miles to the nearest grocery store is not just time consuming. It also stretches the last of her budget and leaves her wondering how she can pay all her bills and still afford both gas and food.

That’s where mobile food pantries come into play. Through partnerships with Harvesters and local food pantries within 16 counties in northeast Kansas, fruits, vegetables and other healthy foods come directly into communities where Jaclynn, and others in similar situations find the help they need.
