Since 1999, KHF has funded the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research (CPPR) to provide grant writing support to Kansas schools, non-profits and government organizations to better compete for national funding opportunities. To date, KHF’s investment of $1.2 million in grant writing support has leveraged $158 Million in national philanthropic and federal funds for Kansas.

One project helped by this assistance is the Delivering Change effort in Geary County. This initiative has contributed to healthier babies in the Junction City area, and a significant drop in infant mortality.
