Thoughts on Equity is a blog series presented by the Kansas Health Foundation to feature written, video and audio content from multiple KHF contributors. Through this blog, KHF will discuss issues of equity, systemic racism, health disparities and how Kansans have the opportunity to shape a more equitable and inclusive future.
As the Kansas Health Foundation enters a time of leadership transition, the board of directors is unified in its assertion that equity will remain at the center of all of KHF’s work. In the video below, KHF Chair Jeffry L. Jack, and Vice Chair Junetta Everett, speaking on behalf of the entire board, articulate a statement reaffirming the organization’s commitment to health equity, including topics such as racial equity and justice.
We invite you to watch this video, and to be checking our website for additional information. Full text of the statement can be found here.
