Due to the efforts of a coalition featuring government, private sector and nonprofit partners a full $3.5 million has been secured for the Wichita community impacted by groundwater contamination, with a particular focus on the neighborhoods near 29th and Grove.
The Kansas Health Foundation recently provided a $50,000 grant to Wichita Habitat for Humanity to expand the reach of its home repair program that serves low-income homeowners, ensuring more people can live in safe, affordable housing.
