WICHITA, Kan. – The Kansas Health Foundation is pleased to announce Lindsay Wilke has been promoted to Associate Director of Network Mobilization.

Her new position recognizes the impact she’s made at KHF and aims to expand KHF’s focus on tackling the most challenging health issues facing our state. In this role, Wilke will lead multiple aspects of the selection, execution and measurement of KHF’s large-scale, issue-based investments.

“Lindsay Wilke has quickly established herself as an outstanding teammate and someone who is respected and trusted by our partners,” said Ed O’Malley, KHF President and CEO. “We believe we can make a significant difference in the health of Kansans by focusing on large, daunting challenges, and Lindsay will play a key role in how we do that moving forward.”

Previously, Wilke served as Issue Mobilization Manager at KHF, and has been instrumental in the work of KHF and its partners around the issue of hunger/food insecurity. This work included the launch of the Hunger Free Kansas initiative in 2024.

“I love the work of our organization and our focus on partnering with the best and brightest throughout our state,” Wilke said. “In this new role, I look forward to continuing that work, but also diving more deeply into the future issues KHF will want to tackle.”

Wilke joined KHF in 2023 and brought an extensive background in community engagement and nonprofit work. This included managing multiple collective impact projects in Cowley County and working at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.

“If our organization is going to reach its goal of empowering Kansas to lead the nation in health, we have to think boldly and think strategically,” O’Malley said. “Lindsay has shown time and time again she has unique skills in the areas of planning, execution, relationship building and management. In her new role, we will seek to utilize all of those gifts in the pursuit of improving health in our state.”
