Strategy #6

Overview

We consider our six key strategies to be the “how” of our work. The strategies represent both a guide for our work and our decision making.

The sixth and final strategy is:

  • Fostering an internal culture that aligns every KHF resource to maximize impact.

This one is pretty straight forward: KHF needs to be an awesome organization, filled with great people, doing incredible work. Anything less than that, and the idea of Kansas leading the nation in health will go out the window.

Examples

Even the process of creating this Strategic Framework was a huge step in this direction. Every team member, regardless of title, level, background, etc., served on multiple working groups to research, discuss and recommend different elements that you read about today.

From monthly gamedays to efficient and respectful meetings, we try to model the type of culture that we believe needs to be more widespread in Kansas to make real progress. Maybe that sounds like the type of place you want to be. If so, be sure to check out our Careers page to see if we have any openings.
