We hope you’re enjoying the new KHF website!

We are working to enable language changes across our entire site for our community. For now, this feature is available on this page!

These are just a few examples of how everyday people can be Civic Health Heroes – citizens who engage in their communities, and whose time and talents are making Kansas a healthier place to live, work and play. Our state ranks among the top ten nationally for confidence in institutions, volunteering, and several measures of community engagement*, so we’re certain to find Civic Health Heroes all across Kansas.

Help us honor those who make your community a better place by nominating** them to be a Civic Health Hero.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations this year. We have now announced the 19 recipients of 2018 Civic Health Hero awards. To learn more, read the official news release, or find out all about the honorees here.

It’s never to early to start planning for next year. In 2019, National Volunteer Week is April 7-13, and at that time we will once again be accepting nominations. Help us honor more outstanding individuals in 2019!
