Stephen Webster is chief financial officer for the Kansas Health Foundation.

In this capacity, he is responsible for investment portfolio administration, investment performance, accounting, financial reporting and risk management. The fiduciary stewardship led by Webster is critical for a foundation whose funds are meant be used in perpetuity for future generations.

Prior to joining KHF in September 2015, Webster, who is a Certified Public Accountant, worked at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis for more than 20 years. In Memphis, Webster served as director of finance where he led the day-to-day operations of the finance department and supervised all aspects of the organization’s financial reports, internal controls and audit preparation. He also supervised the organization’s human resources and facilities.

In addition to the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis, Webster’s career also includes roles at Porter Leath Childen’s Center and as accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Webster earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Christian Brothers University, where he majored in accounting. He resides in Andover with his wife and two daughters.
