In a matter of months, it feels like the world has changed. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, so too has uncertainty and anxiety. But, another emotion is also bubbling up: resolve. Part of that resolve is the desire for action; the desire to do something…anything…to help make a difference for those impacted by this public health emergency.

With that in mind, below are some ideas so anyone, regardless of circumstance, can contribute to society and take action during these historic times.

Monetary Donations/Contributions:

Non-monetary Contributions:

  • Give blood (find out more here) or convalescent plasma (learn more)
  • Give food (click here for ideas)
  • Be a good neighbor (read this article for many great suggestions)
  • Check on loved ones virtually or over the phone
  • Get your flu shot
  • Wear a mask, be deliberate about washing your hands, avoid gatherings and stay home when you can

At the Kansas Health Foundation, we are actively working to find the best ways to support our state through these trying circumstances.
