WICHITA, Kan. – Jill Docking and Melissa McCoy will join the Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) Board of Directors on July 1.
Jill Docking currently serves as senior vice president of The Docking Group, a Wichita-based Baird financial services firm. Docking has nearly 30 years of industry experience after beginning her career with A.G. Edwards.
In addition to her professional work, Docking remains very active in her community. She serves as president of the Financial Fitness Foundation, which she founded, and is one of the co-chairs of the University of Kansas’ (KU) capital campaign. Docking also is a member of the endowment and medical boards of KU.
Docking holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a Master of Business Administration, both from KU.
Joining Docking on the KHF Board will be Melissa McCoy of Dodge City. McCoy is the assistant city manager/public affairs for the City of Dodge City, where she oversees the community’s public information office, as well as the local convention and visitors bureau.
McCoy serves in a staff capacity for the Community Facility Advisory Board for the “Why Not Dodge” sales tax projects and for the Public Art Advisory Board. Additionally, McCoy assists with the University Center project, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Mobile Services, Mexican Consulate Mobile Services as well as several other special projects.
She is also proud to represent her community and region as a board member for Dodge City United Way and the Kansas Business Hall of Fame. McCoy is also the city manager’s designee for the boards of Main Street Dodge City, Boot Hill Museum and the Rural Education Workforce Alliance.
A native of Southwest Kansas, McCoy is bilingual in English and Spanish and she’s currently working on her master’s in public administration through Wichita State University.
