Overview

We want to hear from you!  TheKansas Health Foundationis seeking innovative ideas to address cost of care.

Every day, Kansans do not get the care they need due to worries about cost and affordability. According to the most recent America’s Health Rankings, more than 1 out of every 10 Kansas adults has postponed mental or physical health care in the past 12 months due to cost.

Sometimes the cost of a doctor visit, medication, dental care, or specialist appointment feels too high. Other time, the challenge of finding transportation, taking time off work, arranging childcare, understanding insurance, or navigating a complicated system.

We want every Kansan to get the care they need. That’s why we need your help, and your ideas.

Here’s what we need from you:

Have you or someone you know put off medical care because of cost? What happened? What would have helped? Tell us your idea!
