Alejo Cabral joined KHF in 2025 as Director of Philanthropic Partnerships.

Cabral is the first to hold this new position at KHF. His responsibilities include building relationships across the philanthropic and private sectors as well as managing KHF’s portfolio of impact investments.

In his previous position as Program Director for the Create Campaign, Inc., Cabral led the Spark Community Business Academy to a 91% graduation rate and helped expand the organization’s entrepreneurship programming into three new markets in two years. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly five years as Director of W & Talent for the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce where he expanded their investor base by 40%, launched the W Fund to support community transformative initiatives and led an initiative that increased membership to an all-time high.

A big believer in giving back to the community, Cabral currently serves as Board President for the City of Wichita Board of Park Commissioners, where he has also been the District 1 Representative since 2017. He is an at-large member of the Wichita Art Museum Board of Trustees and WAM Executive Committee, as well as the Credit Union of America Advisory Committee.

Cabral graduated from Wichita State University’s Barton School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and management.

Cabral is the son of immigrant parents and was born and raised in Chula Vista, California. He is married to his wife, Morgan, and is a proud girl dad to Amelia Jean and Luisa Gwynn. He enjoys reading and rooting for the San Diego Padres.
