Chase Willhite joined the Kansas Health Foundation in 2006 and currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer.

In this role, Willhite oversees the coordination and integration of all initiatives for the organization, both internally and externally. He is tasked with leading the internal structure, processes and systems that support KHF’s work and community investments.

His responsibilities also include managing all aspects of KHF marketing and communications functions. This includes management over the KHF website, digital communication, strategic planning, budgeting and vendor relations. Additionally, he oversees large-scale public awareness efforts such as statewide media campaigns, sponsorships and partnership events.

Willhite has a background in journalism, media relations, public relations, fundraising and project management, with past professional experiences in higher education, with advertising agencies, corporate communications and various community newspapers.

Educationally, Willhite has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Wichita State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baker University. He has also earned certificates in management, leadership, finance, supervision, Market-Based Management® and strategic visioning from the Wichita State Center for Management Development.

Outside of work, Willhite has a passion for serving his community. His volunteer pursuits include public schools, public libraries, youth sports, Wichita State and his church.
