Junetta Everett

Junetta Everett has served on the Kansas Health Foundation Board of Directors since 2014, and assumed the role of board chair in July 2022.

Everett recently retired as Vice President of Professional Relations for Delta Dental of Kansas, a position she held for more than 25 years.  A Registered Dental Hygienist, Ms. Everett joined Delta Dental of Kansas in 1987 and during the course of her career, she oversaw the relationships, recruitment and maintenance, contracting and compliance, communication, education and support for the organization’s dental networks.

She is a graduate of Butler Community College and Wichita State University. Ms. Everett has remained connected to WSU by serving on the board of directors for the WSU Shocker Athletic Scholarship Organization (SASO), WSU Alumni Board, WSU Dean’s Advisory Board and National Advisory Council. Most recently, she accepted an appointment to the WSU Board of Trustees. Additionally, she served as board chair of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2020, becoming the first African-American to hold this position. She also serves on many other community, nonprofit and oral health-related boards and was a member of the Leadership Kansas Class of 2010.
