As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to transform our national, state and community landscapes, the Kansas Health Foundation feels a heightened sense of its commitment to improve the health of all Kansans. To find out all KHF is doing from a grantmaking perspective during this time, please view our 2020 COVID-19 Response Summary.

For our Grantee Partners:

In April, 2020, KHF determined that some grantees would benefit from greater flexibility during the challenging time of adjusting to the changes brought on by the reality of the pandemic, and immediately:

  • program officers contact grantees
  • extended all grant terms by six months
  • waived interim grant reports due in 2020
  • extended final grant reports due in 2020 by six months
  • provided flexibility for some of our project-related grants to change the scope to broader support, and advancing 2020 payments (all grantees will be contacted by program officers)

Questions?

We recognize that many of our nonprofit partners are still facing significant hardship as the COVID-19 pandemic continues into 2021. We highly encourage KHF grantees experiencing difficulties related to 2021 reporting expectations/timelines to reach out to their Program Officer.
